James Mackenzie
Lead Pastor
James is the lead Pastor, (Teaching Elder) at Antioch Church. James formerly served for several years at Hope Reformed Baptist Church as Deacon and was called to pastoral ministry due to the dire need for Gospel preaching Churches on the Gold Coast. He is married to Cloee and has two sons (Theodore and Phineas). He preaches weekly at church, oversees the Bible studies, leads evangelism efforts, and wants to see the Gold Coast transformed by the Gospel of Jesus.
Marcos Torfanetto
Deacon
Marcos and his wife Andressa have been serving hard at Antioch Church since their first visit. As Deacon, Marcos currently serves and leads our worship ministry. He also has a gifting for media. He looks after our socials, sermon uploads and music tech.
Lucca Vicente
Elder
Lucca is an ordained Elder at Antioch Church. He and his wife Kiah live sacrificially for the church and have done so since their arrival in 2023. Lucca Leads bible studies, teaches and shepherds the saints. Brazilian born, Lucca moved to the Gold Coast and was saved by the gospel of Jesus. Since then has lived committed to the Great Commission!
Callan Kaurila
Deacon
Callan and his wife Anna have been a part of Antioch Church since 2023. Their zeal and willingness to serve has been an evident reality in their conduct. As Deacon, Callan oversees much of the logistical matters of the church.
